Our Story
HoffScale™ is a consulting firm that helps B2B software companies master revenue management, build strong sales teams, and scale so they reach their exit goals.
HoffScale™ is built on over 35 years of executive-level experience in sales management within the B2B enterprise software industry. Our founder, Jeff Hoffman, managed sales teams and oversaw marketing at three PE-backed Fintech software companies, two of which reached successful exits: SunGard was sold to FIS, and Financial Architects was sold to Wolters Kluwer.
HoffScale™ works with PE and VC-backed portfolio companies. What makes us unique is that we act as both an operating partner and management consultant, unlike most operating partners at PE firms who only identify problems in their portfolio companies, typically related to GTM.
HoffScale™ focuses on your whole revenue management which includes your market potential, GTM and sales management approach. We identify the problems and fix them, eliminating a handoff between operating partner and an outsourced consultant, which furthermore eliminates the confusion of the handoff.
We have spent the past decade working with venture capital and private equity-backed companies like WeConvene, Infrascale, Kion, EastBanc, Verituity, and HighRadius. We also work with the founders and leadership teams of the PE and VC firms who sponsor the portfolio companies. Additionally, we serve as board advisors to sponsored companies, including the RevTech Labs Fintech Accelerator. Jeff has also been guest lecturing on the HoffScale™ Method at NYU Graduate School since 2012.
